Network announces the release of THE CUCKOO WALTZ – THE COMPLETE SECOND SERIES (Cert TBC), released on 10 th August 2009, RRP £12.99.
Local news reporter Chris Hawthorne (David Roper) and his wife, Fliss (Diane Keen), live a simple but contented life with their twin babies and few material possessions, punctuated by occasional visit from Fliss's mum, Connie, and their eccentric neighbour, Austen Tweedale.
All that changes, however, when they take in lodger Gavin Rumsey (Lewis Collins): newly single Gavin has soon filled the house with expensive furniture, flashy gadgets and a succession of decorative young ‘temps' - and Chris and Fliss are left feeling distinctly squeezed out…
Available for the first time, this release comprises all episodes of the second series of this hit Granada sitcom, originally screened in 1976.
